Taekwondo

What you can expect

Taekwondo is a Korean martial that translates as tae "foot", kwon "fist/hand" & do "the way/art". Which means the art of hand & foot. This means that Taekwondo is "the right way of using all parts of the body to stop fights and help to build a better and more peaceful world."

What do we teach

There are many things that we teach in Taekwondo, such as Patterns/Forms, various punching/Kicking/Blocking techniques as well as self-defence and weapons. Sparring is also very important in Taekwondo and we practice the WTF style (Olympics) which varies from point stop to full contact.

In patterns/forms one must have the concentration & ability to perform various movements against imaginary opponents with balance, posture, strength & skill.
